It would be an understatement to say that Will & Jess are beautiful people.
Everything about their day was a reflection of who they are. They had always wanted their reception at heritage listed Clifton Homestead – the owners are good friends of Jess’ parents. It was a stunning little place with all of their closest family and friends. It rained on the day and we had to move the ceremony onto the large verandas of the homestead. Large flowering wisteria vines hung around the veranda and the sound of soft rain hitting the tin roof was perfect.
They had an army of loved ones helping them out with almost every detail of the day – talk about a DIY wedding! Will’s mum looked after all of the flowers, from hair pieces through to centrepieces and decorations; a real wishing well was made by Jess’ pop; their cake was made by her mum and beautifully decorated by her aunty; the bridesmaids created little handmade signs; bunting and photo props were made by their friend Belle, and every other detail made by the bride herself.
Jess and Will have to be two of the most in love people I met. Jess wore a gown by Light in a Box and, to her surprise, ended up climbing up mountains and rocks to catch the last rays of light. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
